I made it home around 5:30. It was a COOL seven hour ride, good thing the sauna was hot when I got home. Nothing felt so good.

Thanks Feliz for hosting the NOR. Nobody went hungry or thirsty.

This propane deep fryer did a great job on the potatoes, chicken wings and walleye fillets.

I counted 18 bikes around the camp. It was good to meet some new ADV personalities too...Klay, Hectoglider and Rosie.

Home safe. Beautiful ride back to Kenora today! A big THANK YOU to NORTH RIDER for putting on the whole thing. Great seeing you guys again, and great meeting some of you for the first time. Nice to put faces to names!
For you Winnipeg folk headed home tomorrow.....there is NO GAS in Vermillion Bay. I circumnavigated Dryden and had to back track to Eagle River Junction for petrol. The Bumble Bee will go at least 377 kilometres on a tank full! Still had over two litres left!
    Ride safe.

Wow....no gas in VBay...there used to be at least two stations there!

I'll chime in, thanks from Sonya and I for the wonderful, (and tiring) job you did hosting this!

Yes - Feliz a big thank-you for hosting this event again - and also for allowing me to practice my new stand-up routine around the beach fire on Saturday night (re: My dad vs. the armadillo). It was really great seeing everyone again - as well as meeting some new people who are regular posters to the forum. Diane had a great time too - and offers her thanks as well. Just a great group of friendly, fun, and interesting people. What a way to spend a September weekend.

Quick stop in Upsala for soup and sandwich ... Sorry no food shot, ate it!!!
I new the gas station was closing in VBay for upgrades the fall. Apparently it's fall today.

Thanks Feliz.... Again, it was the best.

Might see you in a couple of weeks for the October Fest.

A few shots from the dirt ride on Saturday.

Thanks for a great but cold ride. On the way out to rally central Saturday morning there was precipitation of the frozen variety falling from the sky:huh

Perfect timing. Apparently there's another TRANSALP for sale about 2 blocks from your place. Just heard about it this morning!

I believe Feliz has pointed that bike out to me in the past. If it's the same one it's a beauty... Too nice to sit by the turd in the garage.

Sorry I missed out gang - there's some family stuff happening that precluded my disappearing for a few days. Looks like another fun time. Kudos for Feliz (again) for hosting!

Remember to drop me a line if you are planning on passing through Knife River some weekend; I would love to see you folks. I am usually in KR on weekends for now, but in just over 2 years it will be 24/7.

    Scott,
    Good to hear from you!
Be aware, 24/7 is too little. You'll need 48/14. :D

Looking at this pic I'm glad we had TREVOR pointing out which way to go. :)
