I used to be able to use the one where I worked, but retired last July. Not sure otherwise. The ultrasonic does a really good job.

A poor mans ultrasonic cleaner is putting the parts to be cleaned into the cleaning solution in a jar and putting it on or hanging from a bench grinder.
    Does a pretty good job.

I miss the days when we had a fairly active ADV group in the NORTH . We should try to organize another NORTHERN ONTARIO RALLY ( I’m NOT volunteering to host one at this time , just wishing for one ) .

Will need a few more +6 days to clear a path on the roads here, but it is a welcome sign!!! I cleared the path wider to my shed where the little honda sits just in case it turns fast.

Heading for a 2 week road trip to California in the van at the end of the month so I will surely be ready to ride after we get back in mid April.

Anyone in Thunder Bay want to go for a small ride in the next week ? I know it’s cold but a loop around the city could be done .up Dawson road , then to kekabeca falls and maybe make it to the Neebing for a snack .

I'm up for it. Ronny and I installed some heated grips on the WR last week, so this will be a huge, luxurious improvement for me!

Saw 4 bikes today in the Peg. Lots of water and sand on the streets.

If there's lots of water and sand on the streets, the WR will feel right at home. There's lots of water and sand on the trails in the summer too. Ha..ha.... The potholes won't be an issue either. I think my car commute to work each day has been twice as long with all the swerving I've done avoiding potholes on the street this spring....

I watched this today. These small displacement bikes are so much fun. I miss mine. And apparently - the frames on the new ones aren't small either - and more similar to a larger bike. And unbelievably - this bike has variable valve timing. Yes - variable valve timing. On a Yamaha 4-valve 125 cc single. Granted it still only produces 14.75 hp at the crank to meet EU A1 graduated licencing restrictions. But apparently this one feels strong for a 125 all throughout the powerband. I just love the technology that has been baked into these bikes from across the pond. If it came here - I'd buy one immediately. It's like a Grom on steroids.....

It certainly seems to have all the bells and whistles (including ABS) along with all of that Yamaha reliability.

It’s the salt! I know it’s there and it’s waiting to eat the bike.

There is still salt and sand residue on the streets here until June, not going to stop me, Quick spray with the hose when I get home and done.

GearDrivenCam and myself went out for a 90 mile ride today . The highway around Thunder Bay is sand free and all the rain ( and it was a lot ) last night got rid of any road salt that was left . Too bad the weather is cold for the rest of the week but Sunday looks promising . See you on the road .

I'm supposed to be hosting a bday gathering (including fire, friends, and refreshments) for my better-half in her back-yard on Friday after 5pm. But wondering if I could still pull off a trip to Atikokan and back before them.........does that make me a terrible person? :hmmmmm

I should let my northern friends know that I am now a Grampa. They named the kid Paul Huckleberry Sappling. I had no idea that the kids were hippies until they did that. "Sappling" was a combination of "Seguin and Appling." I think I should call the kid Huck, right? Charlie Seguin is the stepson that rode his motorcycle to Patagonia with his brother Joey, "south america, until our money or luck runs out."
