The site is hacked. I called Trader and they asked that I send a message to info@Canadamotoguide.com. Unfortunately it came back as unreachable.

Thanks for the look. My heart leapt for a moment when I saw a possible route.

Going around the Lake will eventually happen. The logging roads may eventually connect up.

    Way to go ZZR Ron.
It would be fun to see who checks in after all these years.

Did the D2D and trip to Inuvik in 2012. Was in Inuvik for the longest day. Came out of the bar at 2 am, and it was like it was 2 pm. Sun bright in the sky and +28 degrees.

The scenery all the way from the BC border, and especially up the Dempster, is like no where else in the world. It is a long way to go and have always wanted to go back, but so many other places that i need to go first. I think if I were to do it again i would trailer my CRF250 and make a slow photo run up on that.

Did Tuk and Deadhorse August 2018 on my 1090; Dempster is amazing! Would definitely do it again, hopefully without running into a snow storm this time

That's a cloud shadow covering the Jackfish River road near Seymour Lake. There's a nice camping spot there. Road is very driveable way past this spot.

Looks like the closest the two road networks get is near Ketchikan Lake (433114E 5579895N Zone 16N Nad83) but it would take a Camel Trophy-esque effort to cross that swamp. Not saying I wouldn't do it, but damn, it wouldn't come easy. Likely no problem up to there though.

Would have to set up camp and hack a trail through. Would need at least one guy just doing beer runs back and forth to town to keep the place supplied.
