Hi @shanekingsley , Here's my internet diagnosis of your bike's condition, take it for what its worth without actually seeing your bike...... The clutch push rod has its own adjustment and is completely independent of the cable adjustment. This is a common error on these engines, as people think a slack cable = slack in the pushrod, or vice-versa, tight cable = tight pushrod. But this isn't the case. I race an SV, the street version of this engine, and learnt this the hard way..... Attached are screengrabs from the service manual. The 1/4 turn slack on the pushrod (part #4 in the diagram) is critical.
