I know I might jump on first ferry and shoot up on Sunday to explore
Another good riding weekend on tap - a bit of rain on Friday then smooth sailing for the weekend. Time to pull the bikes out of hibernation - looking like an early Spring this year!
I hit up this route today for a bit. Was nice.
I've got plenty of good stuff to link up around this area too. Interested in your Portland intel.
Shout out to new Fairfield. I have friends that live in the knolls and on the isle. And shout out to great hollow.
I know I'm a bit late to the party, but that's typically when the real fun starts, amirite?
I found some office space on Mt. Easter Rd. where we can get together and discuss route planning:
Dave, I want some of your tracks! BTW -what ever happened to Andy?
Got divorced = sold everything
Got remarried (fucking guy will never learn)
Moved to Mass
We can route plan when you bring your suspension over for service... Or maybe some night this week???
Text me your email and I can set you up with some easy CT stuff and BBA type stuff in the Berks. We were up there today checking out some DS Route options for mid to large displacement bikes. Sundays DS route will be mid bike hard, big bike F'ing hard but 75% doable for GS with knobbies and a strong will to survive. 100% doable on a KLR/DR or Super Enduro, you know, a real Dual Sport bike
The combined BBB/BBA in September is going to be off the hook. The weekend will have a total of 6 different rides from easy ADV to Triple B puke before lunch difficulty.
Looks like a fun route. Can you share the GPX?
I'm planning on riding the northern most section of that loop tomorrow if anyone wants to join me.
I'll be on the TMT tomorrow, maybe we'll cross paths
I'll be doing the Berkshire Blast with Northeast Dualsport Riders. Maybe we'll all cross paths!
If I ever get my bike back from the shop, I'd love to try some of these rides!
We passed somebody on a GS in Beartown forest sometime after lunch. Anybody here?
I thought it was me then I realized I have a KLR and I was home cutting my lawn but in my head I was up there riding lol
Here's a new one. Mild yet rich with a dusty undertone.
brought to you by @Liquidape and friends
Nice loop. I think I've been on a couple sections of it myself when out exploring. Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to ride the whole thing?
Well, it was a full day for me riding up from Hamden at 8am to meet in Roxbury. We had a few lengthy stops and I got home by 5. Tough day at the office.
