glad to hear you enjoy this RR and thank you for following along. Idaho is a beautiful state, wish we could spend more time riding your backyard (sorry, we were on a schedule). next time, i would take at least couple of weeks to explore the many riding opportunities out there.

hope to see you and some of my friends who live in ID.

Thank you for the great report. I am really amazed of the picture quality. Are shooting in auto or manual?

always good to hear when people appreciate my travel. thank you for following along.

auto most of the time. the camera and iphone 6 are merely point-n-shoot. smartphones nowadays have outstanding picture quality.

Jeff, thanks for chiming in, and glad you like the report. Many of the places are right in your backyard.

this winter mostly local riding out in the desert. i still need to venture eastward, so many beautiful places to see and enjoy.

hopefully, we can plan a meetup in Moab next year in April.

meanwhile, whenever opportunities arise, i and friends managed to escape the big city pandemic by spending a few days in the Eastern Sierra and Pahrump NV

What in particular is going on in April in Moab? Noob part Deux?

no organized rally, just a place to escape the big-city pandemic and meet friends, hang out for 5 days.

That average low for Moab is a little misleading. Early April will likely be below freezing overnight. Not a huge deal, just be prepared if camping. Otherwise, it’s as nice as advertised.

we were at the goose island camp BLM ground for a week at the end of sept, prefect weather.
just need to pickup a site the day before, camp out by the road to the canyon lands. 1.5 miles from downtown moab.

Funny enough, similar fortune hit me in the first few days of my ride up North into Canada, just a few days into it at that! :becca And for a second there I thought I was gonna have to fight it whole way up and down...but... The Crow straightened up, and never leaked since! Amazing what a little ingenuity can do! :ricky

I finally got a few days off and am sitting in the hotel, and watching a much better movie than HBO classics, reading RRs! :happay

Thank you for sharing your awesome ride! I wish I was able to complete my whole planned loop this time... but I'll take what I got! At least I made it to both wishful areas!! :ricky

P.S. Did you notice we pulled over for a photo next to the exact same fallen redwood on the Avenue of the Giants? :pynd

Just caught up with your RR, nice going! I have lots and lots of memories of most of those roads, including Hells Canyon and Enterprise two months ago. Not bad for this 78-year-old. Keep writing and shooting pix, you're good.
