Wow ... this bike must be amazing.

Stephan Peterhansel has no idea about riding bikes or about rally raid, so if he can ride this amazing new bike so well in sand dunes it must be a peach! ..... I’m in. Where do I sign?

Just find the Yellow Brick Road, and follow it to the end, The Tin Man is taking orders now.

No, they’ll just release the model they always intended too, and people will spend money on suspension, seats, pipes, power comanders, pegs, racks, protection, GPS mounts and make it just how they want it, it will be the start of a whole new trend

^^^That looks like a slightly lifted MT07 on spoked wheels and not much of the KYB SSS forks.... Looks like a great bike to commute on

By the time they finish wetting Tenere Tragic's appetites and get ready for the model release it will be outdated, soooo last decade..:dunno

Hey @BygDaddee , maybe they are trying to figure out how to get a sixth gear in there...

I was thinking about that the other day, reading the ktm 790 that thread started in Aug 2015, so that means that have been working on the 790 for around 5 years, and the same here.
With the advancement in technology, computer simulation and garnered experience from these major companies.
With a brief of design parameters for environmental performance limitations shouldn't take longer than a couple of years.

I don't understand the logic of bringing out a prototype which they, you and I know that they'll never be able to bring to reality.
In the process rising peoples expectations of a bike that will be less than expected, a bit like the bloke that is constantly talking himself up yet everyone knows that he is just a loser.

with "Tenere" spelt backwards on the fairing, so it reads the right way in your rear vision mirror? Nobody would have thought of that before!

The only people that see Yamahas in their rear vision mirror are other Yamaha riders.
