Stealers Wheel must have seen this thread coming... :rofl

Well I don't know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain't right,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you,
Yes I'm stuck in the middle with you,
Stuck in the middle with you, here I am stuck in the middle with you

:becca AFICR this is the first time a thread of this sort as broken out in poetry. I hope that Yamaha releases the T7 soon 'cause it's getting scary watching y'all. :lol3

I would love to know how many opinionistas on this forum will actually buy the 790 or the T7.

It's a bit like the ute market that's being discussed in OT Mr Mallard, new stuff has been neutered by emissions laws and market pressure. Remember when we all dissed the old 660Z because it was a lean running under suspended over priced parts bin bike? I bought one. Loved it. Wish I still had it. I decided to buy a 1200 and a 450 because two bikes fit for purpose is better than one all rounder fit for no purpose right? Wish I still had both the Tenere and the chunk of cash it's cost me to realise just how good that bike was. As an all rounder.

I'll be fronting up to check it out but going off previous Yamaha sales tactics I'll be ignored, told I can't ride one, won't be told a price, and pushed towards a Y loan I don't want.

I'll have spent money elsewhere by the time it actually hits the showroom floors.
Looks the goods on face value but my patience doesn't span years I'm afraid

I am still looking at filling the gap between my Husky 701 for more remote rides, and my Africa Twin Adventure Sports for more long distance dirt touring.

So if I don't end up buying Nevergriff's KTM (someone please buy one of my Harley's) I will trade one of them in on a T7 or a KTM 790 Unicorn for intermediate off road duties.

Honda just dropped a bomb out of the blue with the sub 300lb CRF450L, and Yammie is still spinning wheels here. I can't help but to think some customers will move that way.

It's like a cluster bomb over in the thumpers section...multiple threads exploding simultaneously on the Honda.
