Apologies all. I haven't been reporting. Only little rides and many interruptions from good rides.
So here is a report. I took my son Alex on a 65 mi figure 8 ride in our south mountains. Both of my sons tend to kill me anymore... revenge is suspected. Alex rode my 500exc and I rode my (new to me) DRZ 400. I forgot my camera and my phone isn't up to the task. Alex took these pictures.

Ride today was about 40% dirt of 180mi total. Some a bit arduous with wash-ruts and rocks. My buddy "I'm never lost" Brian and I were a bit tired after the dirt and chose to ride the pavement back. Besides Brian took a wrong turn and we were "lost" for a bit. My confidence was shattered .
