Noticed the passenger front tire on my Heap had a slow leak, found out it was the valve stem core. No big deal, just have Big-O Tire slap in a new schrader valve. 2 hours later I'm wondering exactly WTF they're going, when they finally told me it's done. Go to check, and they installed an entirely new valve stem, which means they busted the tire off the wheel.

I asked them if they checked the balance on it afterwards, they claim they marked the tire so they knew exactly how it went back on. I'm thinking OH ok, the drive home proved otherwise. Now I need to have it re-balanced, and they want to charge me to do it :boid

I think I would just buy a harbor freight 2000w predator generator. My old job used one and they're awesome.

We used one all summer on the job, for a $500 generator that you can pack around with one hand they are a lot tougher than I thought they'd be.

Am I missing something? A valve change should take about 5 minutes in your driveway. Was it seized?

In an effort to get my mpg back up a bit, I decided to take off the roof top tent. Due to the weight, I knocked together this rig to make it a lot easier. Still needs a winch or something to make the raise and lower easier.

Ah, yes. Living in the desert has its perks, but having spare schrader valves around, or auto parts stores with them in stock, is not one of them. Also, Amazon's prime service here is just regular slow mail for everyone else. Would take days to get a kit, with no guarantee the stupid mail lady won't deliver it to a different house (like they did with one of my specialty wrenches the other day).

Our mail carrier just tosses our amazing packages onto our lawn

The Fed Ex lady does that. No matter if the dogs are out or not.
Just drops them over the gate and runs.

We have a 2019 Wrangler and Thursday it would not recognize the key fob. Tried to remove and replace battery in remote, walked out of range and returned, placed the end of remote against the start button and pushed to start as shown in manual.
two truck showed up two hours later and the jeep started so had it towed and dealer found nothing wrong!
Searched and found other owners are having the same issue. Anyone found a solution to this issue?
Note my 2015 Grand Cherokee has had the same issue twice in 4 yrs.
With the new Jeep also failing it has me spooked!

Got a C-130 stuck in a hole parking on the grass in Asuncion Paraguay, 1968. Took more than a couple of oxen to pull it out. In fact, a tug and a fuel truck couldn't budge it. Happened to be a D-8 making a new runway. Exhaust note hardly changed as it pulled the plane out of the hole. If it's hard to do, you're using the wrong tool.
