In today's economy!? just a regular old piece of tubing that came with the kit and filled the space.
quote of the day for sure!
and man you're not kidding aboot the fan clearance.... what a cool project!
The idea is to maintain as much of the original aesthetic as possible while being able to do a decent job crawling and maintain top speed (45mph) up hills at elevation while being at least as safe a motorcycle.
As it is, driving in traffic is pretty scary but at least the steering wheel might crush my sternum and kill me instantly before the steel dash can cut my legs off at the knees leaving me to bleed out
When I drove my uncles GPW, I was immediately alarmed at how any momentum at all could be fatal for the driver.... and I didnt even want to think about a tipover
Ground Hog Day:
For the two people on earth who may have missed it during the Super Bowl !!
"Don't drive angry", "Check your mirrors, corner of your eye..."
I missed it. Was driving from Clearwater to Orlando, trying make the company party. Arrived as the SB was ending. No way to get to the venue..
Oh, the Stupidbowl.
I'm not much of a basketball fan so I missed it.
Not that I watched it but I wouldn't say either of us missed it!
Oh jeez the anti is strong here.
It was a decent game with fantastic commercials and, at least in my case great friends and food.
You guys might want to find the latter...
Stupor Bowel day is the perfect day for a M/C ride or a Jeep drive. It's like a post-apocalyptic day in the woods. You may see cars parked at a house, but there's no human activity. And, no one's officiating out there, if you know what I mean.
I dunno about you but that's like every day for me... But I work at home and okay when I get like it...
I guess it depends where you are. I don't think people around here for example, are all that into it. I was out doing a bunch of things on Sunday before and during the game, and I didn't notice that big of a difference. Traffic everywhere.
My experience too. Good game, good friends, good food. Commercials - meh. A couple good ones.
I ran from a wedding in Clearwater to a company party in Orlando, arriving just as the game was getting out. Couldn't even get close to the venue what with all the Uber, Lyft and drunks in the lot.
