Cool. Trains and boats in 1 photo. Well done.

I was working in Duluth a bunch of years ago and totally blew the chance to photograph the DMIR F units bringing taconite to the docks. Years before that, I was in Zim, Mn for a long weekend, stayed at a place that was across the road from the DMIR line and the trains were moving that weekend. No camera then either. Sad.

The rain last week washed out ballast along the Cannon River.

I've worked up there a couple months this year, and I generally don't take pictures where I work at, this was interesting enough I made an exception. Honestly, Duluth is by far the coolest location I've worked at, and I would love to be there permanently, but it's not in the cards. Being able to go there for a few weeks at a time is nice, though.

Wrong thread, but the boat was getting some prop maintenance done. Pretty cool to see...

My brother works for a place that does in place machining. He has worked on boats in the Milwaukee harbor and does work at Miller Brewing every year in Milwaukee.

NS movin one out just down the street from my house. This is pretty much a daily occurrence, kind of a pita when they stop blocking the crossing but that hasn't happened in quite a while. Only one loco running, guess they don't need that much umph on the flat ground around these here parts...

Last week a wheel broke off a freight train in Belgium and damaged more than 2 miles of track.
