This is pretty interesting. It includes the radio transmissions between the dispatcher and train crew. The derailment happened Friday about 11am. Fortunately no was injured or killed.

I just stumbled upon this little gem. Well worth the watch. Starts out with Shay and Heisler Locomotives then, all kinds of cool steam operated wood milling equipment, along with a 2-6-6-2 locomotive, keeps popping up thru the video.

I covered a job in December that had me going over the Hwy 52 bridge in St Paul. I saw a holiday train parked just to the east of the St Paul depot and was under the mistaken impression that it was the CP holiday train. It was the Milw 261 with the Santa train. All but one of the nights, the 261 was really hard to make out because of the steam, then one night, there it was. Felt like a bit of a goof for not realizing what it was the 1st night I saw it.
