The one from Craftycoder. I down loaded it and put it into my Zumo. Most of the tracks were perfect some were points you had to use the existing roads on the GPS to follow along. I'll try and put together the route we took and post it up
Here is the route we took minus the I5 road and back from Vancouver. First day was 566 miles from Vancouver to first camp on the map. Left at 4:30am and set camp up at 11:30 pm, with a lunch stop at Hood river for beer and pizza.:dg. Round trip was 6 days.
You fuckers came through Hood River and didn't call or stop by???
I ran my dirty route from Hood River to Sisters this September also. 3 days to Sisters, 3 days back.
Haha, just saw this. Our bad Apple Jam, we should have zipped by.
Hit you up next time
So,...is it next time yet?
I wore my KTM Rally hat last week, and thought of you crazy Canadians!
I wore my 990 out and bought a 1090, how's your old steeds doing?
Its doing well. I have only 36,000kms on it. I just did Baja this year on it for 2 weeks and we are heading to Kamloops for the Loose screw 2018 dual sport rally.
Too funny as I wore the T-shirt this weekend!
Looking for some tracks for the obdr if anyone has them. Leaving from coos bay in a couple weeks. I have route 6 but the others I would like to have. O don't think the paper maps are going to cut it.
Countdown has all kinds of good routes at GPSXchange, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how to actually download from there. Guess I'll keep hammering on it.....
I know. I saw them but he hasn't been on here since 2017 i believe. I'm only in my 30s but I feel like I'm 100 with technology. Couldn't figure out the gpsxchange site even after joining.
To get Countdown or anybodys tracks on GPSXchange you have to have an account, In the past this has not been trivial.
Countdown has all of his stuff in a Private library. To find it scroll down to just past California. You don't have to upload a track first in order to download any of Jerry's tracks.
If you have logged in correctly, you will see a Download link on the right side of the table describing the GPS file.
If you don't see the Download link, you probably are not logged in.
I have been finding lately that I sometimes have to log in twice to get it to work.
I vaguely remember that when I first joined GPSXchange, I had to jump thru another hoop to actually be able to upload and download files.
It was something like setting my account type to active.
I just recently started using Google Chrome. I can never remember that when I download something, the filename just appears in a small window in the lower left corner of the screen with no fanfare.
I have downloaded some files several times because I didn't notice this.
Ok thanks a bunch. I made a login but couldn't find a spot to download. Ill try your tips.
Edit: that did it. Got the tracks. Thanks. If anyone else can't figure it out msg me and ill pm them to you.
