Where should we meet you and park our trailer? 10am OK?
LOL, did you have a day in mind?
Sorry, I've had side conversations with others and forgot you weren't included. This Saturday is when we are going.
BTW, what tires do you run on your KLR?
FYI, An area of the forest is closed due to bears. It's the gold colored area in the middle of the forest
I guess they expect the bears to leave shortly?
Don't think I can do Saturday. Any chance you guys could do Sunday instead?
The best all arround tire I have found for the KLR is the Dunlop 606. Michelin T63 are also a good choice but they are getting hard to find in 17".
Saturday is the only day we can all make it. Can you point us in the right direction to start? Where to park the trailer and which trails to start on? I think we can wing it from there.
Sent you a PM.
I have no idea, my Father-in-Law shared the post on FB and I knew you guys were riding down there and thought I'd just share it here.
Planning to hit up croom in the AM, got my rear shock rebuilt finally. Had zero nitrogen and half the oil it should have. Was just riding on the spring.
Planning to do some test runs and then hit the trails for a few to get a feel for the shock before next week at gator back.
^^ I've heard broken ribs suck. Hurts to laugh, breathe, cough, etc.
Heal up d00d.
N00b and deep sand = injury.
I guess thats one way to break in a noob.
Atleast offer some lube next time.
This guy is no noob, he's rides a GS1200 better than most on and off road. He was tearing up the sand but clipped a half burried log which sent him flying.
Im thinking about taking my KLR to ONF on Saturday, anybody care to join?
Love to Josh, but I got to work
Check the CADS thread, looks like a few are headed that way.
Thanks for the memories, rode there for years..... Colorado is my new playground!!!
Thats awesome, I'm going to be in CO mid July. Really looking forward to it.
