    Hey J, Thanks man!

    I'm really enjoying it.
Poor Dakar is sitting. Think I need to sell to someone who'll give it some love.

Hope to see you on a ride soon.

I cant believe he hasn't gone down yet.... unbelieveable. We should lure him out onto a frozen lake and release a wild bear and see what happens. THEN he may crash.

Im taking two n00bs from work on a 300 mile loop from here to SB that day.... been planning it for months.

....and what do you mean "while weather is nice"?? The weather only gets BETTER in the winter! All the morons stay indoors when it gets "Cold" ie; 40 degrees!

Can I tag along? I need to ride my GS more often. I would guess your route is Ojai to 33N, 166W, HW1 south to SB, then home, or vice versa.:eek1

OW, you'll never get far with a teeny weeny gas tank! But don't worry, we will sell you what you need to get home. The first ridiculous gas price increase you'll ever see is on the trail :nono

Thanks EP, hmmm.....now I'm confused, 300 miles or do Rincon!

Guess I will let you have the 2 noobs, instead of 3. But don't count me out yet, if the Rincon ride fails to materialize, you will see me in your side view mirror.

DogHouse if you want to do Rincon, let's do it on the 20th! Let's start a separate thread.

I'm off for a 4wheeling adventure north of Bishop on Oct 27-28, but will be bringing the 640A on the bed of my truck. There's another one with a Honda 650. Anyone is welcome to join us. You can stuff all your drinks, gear, tent, sleeping bags, etc on the jeep. Don't have to do any cooking, we have a designated person to do all of that. Mostly mild terrain, but we can be on our own whenever we want too. It's the convenience of not carrying anything which makes it more interesting.
