I'm leaving at 8:00 Thursday morning with buddy Tommy (rides a goldwing:lol3). Heading up 101 to King City, then up 25 through Hollister and over toward 'Banos. Then a weird route across the valley to miss Turlock and Oakdale.. then up to Columbia and Parrot's Ferry.

See youz guys in camp. I'll see to it that there's at least one cold beer each " for effect" , ready for the Friday arrivers :1drink

and..yeah, 'Punky.. I know you don't drink beer. I'll try to compensate.

I'm leaving early AM tomorrow too. Gonna head up 88 and check out Grover Hot Springs first then
backtrack down 4 to Big Trees. I should be there around 3:30 - 4:00 tomorrow afternoon.

If you're in Markleeville around lunchtime, the deli across the street from the hotel/bar is good.

I'm still waiting on a lower triple clamp and a front wheel to get laced up. Dicey on making it at this point but we'll see.

Kiel, since this is in my backyard, I thought I would give your booze supply a break and ride up Sat AM to see who might be interested in a day ride.

I have ridden up, over and around most of the surrounding areas. I think most of the color display will be up high. You can do the 4/89/395/108 route in about 5.5 hrs. There are a couple of dirt 4 to 108 short cuts. Shorten the mileage but not the time.

Hope valley is pretty spectactular this time of year. Follow 4 to 88, turn left up the canyon to the top.

Well you've got at least one taker here. I prefer riding to BSing.

Sunday I'll be heading home through Topaz Lake, Four Corners and Bodie then 108. Strays are welcome too.

    Following you!

And I'm bringing up a drinking game for us to play. If anyone gets up there early, make sure there is a site nearby for Sally to set up his trailer...but not so close we have to worry about waking up a baby in our drunken stober.

Also, a Marine buddy of mine on some Ducatti will be riding up Friday as well. He has been instructed to stop at any site with bikes and inquire if its us.

All I have to do tonight is fix a flat tire on the DR :puke1, get some wood, steal Capt. Huggie's loading ramps, and pack the truck.

Great ride.. I have a few pics to post, might be tomorrow.

Meantime, there are a few key terms and themes from the event that I hope will find their way into this thread over the next couple of days:

FYYFF.. and it's not what you other FFs think.

I'm tired. Just got home at 6:30. 10 hours in the saddle, right on schedule, no mishaps and I just missed the storm clouds looming over the Sierras.

That was a fun trip! Good to meet all you FF's and there was absolutely no lack of
entertainment for the weekend with assorted racoon attacks and tent puking!:rofl

    :lol3

Seriously JStory....how many times over a weekend do you REALLY need to mention your wife or the fact that she is a nurse? :deal:rofl

    A few other key terms:

    "I'd Rather be Fapping"
    "I Break for Fap"
    "My Other Hand is Fapping"
"WWJPT; What Would Jesus Fap To?"

"In most Boy Scout troops there was a Den Leader. In my Troop we had a Den MILF"

And welcome to the asylum "PukeBoyee". Next time, Dave, :puke2 in your own tent, not one you are borrowing.:lol3

Well, besides the fact that I rode exactly 0 miles this year due to a fuel + carburetor issue it was still a good time.

Thanks to all who showed up to make our drunken fire-side chats the loudest in the entire campground. I feel bad for the Boy Scouts who camped nearby. I'm sure they are permanently scarred from overhearing the debaucherous conversations.

Next time the King Jenga will work better and be even more awesome:freaky

I think I have a few pics, but I will post them later. Between the fucking raccoon climbing onto my cot and scratching my head to wake me up, or chewing their way into the tent that PukeBoyee / David borrowed from me I slept like shit, so I cam straight home and passed the fuck out.
