See me hanging off the back of the bike screaming .... and buy me a glass of wine in Dawson cuz it looks like I'll be needing one....
If u don't get to it this week, I'm off from Friday (6/17) thru the end of D2D, so bring it over... J
Yikes, I'll be running a pretty shredded front Battle-Wing and a decent Tourance. I hope it'll be dry on the way back from Dawson, but either way it'll be better than riding a Maxim in the rain on the TOW!
A photo of one of the ugly sections of the TOW last week....:huh (Taken by DashAK) This could be a FUN trip!!
wife see that picture! Holy nit! :eek1 Good thing I put on dem TKC's! Better limber up the throttle hand! When in doubt, GAS IT OUT! If ya see a cute gal in a muddy pea-green jacket walking and fuming, you'll know I'm solo!
Wife and I will not be going to D2D this year I have reservations at the Downtown Hotel which I will be canceling today. Its a great place to stay and right in the midst of the action. I thought the rates were reasonable. So if you wanted to stay there and couldn't because they were booked up, call 'em now and get on the wait list.

Spent the past week at the homeplace in Slana. Thursday the gray sky dropped way down and poured rain, with the temperature in the valley down to 41°. When the clouds lifted Friday afternoon there was snow down to the 3000' level on nearby ridges. Remember last year? :eek1 Like we tell visitors - be prepared for anything, 'cause you'll probably see it.
A couple staying on campus the past two days just came across from Dawson and said it was in great shape. She said they were running 55 MPH.
Just wanted to wish everyone a safe and rawkin time for D2D...I was able to only do one D2D trip in my stay in Alaska and it was a lifetime of memories.
Probably all the campers and tour buses...was over the road a couple days ago was like a hiway... as was the road to Eagle.
Besides this year's D2D tee's I'll get in Dawson.... Anyone know if Susan in Chicken has longsleeve D2D tee's again this year? Mark H.
We stopped in chicken on Saturday and Susan said that this years D2D tee's were lost by the shipper. It's a bummer, but she still had a few of last year's model for $5 each. (the white shirt with BM roundel with "D2D Trek")
