There was a side stand for sale in the flea market but I ended up 2nd in line. There are a couple of 1150 part-outs going on as well.

Well, I'm out :cry After spending the last 6 months looking forward to this trip I messed up my knee having way to much fun on a dirt ride 10 days ago. I still can't bend my knee much and riding the Wee for long distances - or any distance for that matter - is just way too painful.

    See you next year!

Thanks! Mud and I pulled it off the other day and broke his monster vice trying to fix it. Should work for now, but if it fails and least someone will get a funny pic! :muutt

Would be cool to have a D2D sign-in in Dawson to see how many people actually show up.

Also would have been good to have people put where they are coming from in the signup thread, looks like a number of people are traveling quite a bit of distance to get there.

Lastly, how legitimate are my concerns about Dawson running dry?

Well, we had planed on a "three generation" ride to Dawson this year; my 12-year-old riding pillion with me and my old man (HoovesNwheels) on a Motoquest KLR.

Unfortunately Dad had been using his body pretty hard over the last 70 years and it's time to start replacing parts. He tried to put it off until fall but he had to get a new knee a couple days ago.

Bummer he'll miss D2D this year but he had Motoquest keep his payment in full for D2D 2013!
