I’m gonna try to make this. If I don’t have work, I’ll go to the Wall and ride from there. What time?

I guess we leave at 17:30 hours. Takes about 50-55 minutes if I recall.

I'm going to have to pass on the great ride Tuesday. I'm not going to be in town in time to make it. Hope to see you guys next time.

I may be at Concord BMW ordering some parts on Tuesday, probably riding to Port Costa from there.

Yes, at the Warehouse. 6:30 PM or 18:30 as you like.

Serious question - is Rio Vista a dry town? Nary a bar or brew pub to be found?

I've eaten at Long Island Larry's hot dog stand multiple times, and at Burgerlicious across the street. Other than that, it's been in past the cemetery and out over the bridge, or north along the river to catch the ferry.
There is not much in that own as far as pubs go, you'd have to go over to Isleton to Mei Wah Beer Room if you want something funky & out of the way.

Not sure if they host groups or not.

Or, there's Shirley's Tavern in Birds Landing. But it closes at 5:30 most days. Shirley is 91 and still runs the place.

Have you never been to Foster's Big Horn? Definitely worth checking out at least once. http://fostersbighorn.com/

There have been adv get togethers there before, not sure if this thread has been there.

We have a pizza place here in Isleton now, I was in there a few months back and they were waiting on their liquor license.

Lucy's Cafe in Rio Vista is good. I've never been into the bar, but the restaurant is outstanding.

The Point is a good place to have a drink looking out over the water. I used to take the missus there, but we haven't been in a while (5 years). The food was good too.

    Hey L.B.

Hoping we can drag you out if we have it near you, but then remembered that you work swing-shift. Right?

Would be fun to have a gathering out in the Delta. But traffic timing may suck. Oh well.

I probably wont make it this month. Leaving it up to the usual suspects.

    Cheers

It sucks to come out here during commute hours. I don't attend very often because I'd rather use my vacation time for leaving town, not staying in town.
