    Bob,
Wanted to thank you for hosting the "distanced" gathering at your place. It was great to finally see a few other inmates face-to-face for a change. If things don't loosen up before next month, maybe we'll have the gathering in my backyard.

Also, I forgot to ask if anyone here has access to a metal lathe. I have a very small job I need done: center drill a 14mm diameter steel pin so I can tap it for an M8 x 25mm bolt.

I'm sort of out of the way, but might be able to help.
Up at the north end of Napa.

Looking for recommendations for a welder in East Bay. Have a bed lift (toy hauler) with a sheared off support arm/pivot. Know anyone GOOD?

ramjet for the win! Cool shop, asked the right questions, dropped it off with him today. Thanks a bunch.

As I was driving away, thinking about stopping by Berkeley Yamaha some fool threw his leg over a new T7 and rode off with a shit-eating grin on his face (under the helmet, but I could tell). I rolled down the window of my truck and yelled "hey! that's mine!!" but he pretended not to hear.

I bet they're happy to have those T7's in stock. :ricky

Dennis did some work for me, long time ago... he machined some slots for internal circlips on my R80 pistons when I installed lightweight wrist pins along with offset Carrillo rods.

Speaking of the T7, makes riding very easy it seems:

I was riding Friday (up the coast) and Sunday (down the peninsula).
Yes, it was hot (hit 104F both rides).

Not sure what my weekend plans are yet. Probably busy Sunday.

Praying for all those that have lost homes or have been displaced due to current fires and for fire fighters and volunteers fighting them!

Westbrae Beer Garden and Brotzeit are open for business. Good distancing and table placement. Air getting acceptable now.

@ramjet Well? I'm making my final payment next week and will start prepping. I'm thinking of overnighting near Susanville to break up the ride.

Y'all, do we want to try to meet at Westbrae maybe the week after next? I'm up for it. Hopefully the smoke will be a non-issue by then.
