Good venue for Oktoberfest meet. Their Schweine Braten is great and special Fest beers!

I'm not coordinating any meets for a couple of months. Going on the DL for at least 2 months. Someone else take charge... and drink my beers.

Planned or unexpected? Hope you're OK, and heal well.

Finally getting my shoulder rebuilt, so sort of planned. Won't be riding for 4-6 months.

No, fortunately I'm ambidextrous. Can even use chop sticks with either hand.
So if somebody driving thru Oaksterdam wants to pick me up...

In our case, Marty. Both. Shoulder eh? Total shoulder or rotator cuff?

Everything except replacement falls under rotator cuff. They need to reattach most of the supraspinatus tendon, remove debris, etc.

Good luck with recovery Marty. The shoulder will feel good enough to tempt usage after a very-few weeks. DON'T DO IT!!! Tendon re-attachments are very delicate & quite vulnerable to damage for months of healing. At our age, _everything_ atrophies away during this time. Then months of PT afterwards before you can start exercising delts again.

BTDT. Glad I got it fixed, but wish I had followed this recovery advice better. D'OH!

    Good luck!

4-6 months. I know and will be a good boy... 2 years before the bone is totally healed.

I had right shoulder rotator cuff surgery with biceps tenodesis in 2014. Feel good as new. You definitely need to pick your surgeon well.

I had a great time at GiantLoops ride outside Burns, OR right up to the point the Tiger decided to take a dirt nap in the mud! Dunlop Missions do not like mud! Broke my left wrist and right foot.....all hairline fractures but still hurt like heck! Having surgery on the wrist tomorrow to expedite recovery.....

Can't say I've ever had any tires that liked mud. Heal quickly!

I'm currently out of commission with a broken right ankle (cracked fibula), so I'm unable to either ride or drive.
I have been to Speisekammer numerous times and it's always been great, so have a great time there!

You take care and heal up. I'm on the mend from shoulder surgery and won't be riding until the spring.
