    we chat with one of the employees and asked if the other sites are open. they were closed, but later he realized that we are competent dirt riders, so he offered to unlock the gate. mike making sure the gate is closed behind us.

    thanks to mike, we had a great tour of the sights near pahrump!

    we went back to camp with plenty of daylight left. ate lunch in town and got ready for the saturday night festivity.

    It really was a great time . Met some good people ,had some good riding and laughs . Also, I came home with some very cool raffle prizes ! :)) . Can't wait to do it again ....

    ymmv, but i ran out of gas on my xr400 and migelito on his 500exc at 150-160 miles @ 90% dirt. tipping the bikes to the side moved fuel to the carb and got us going for another mile to the nearest gas station.

    i think with a 100 mile range, you'll still be able to ride many of the cool riding areas.
