Room at the Downtown Hotel - Resrved
No, really.....is it June yet?
er......that should read the Downtown Hotel in Dawson City.
Can anyone comment on Camping at the D2D? I understand a campground is across the river. What is the facility like? Does it take a long time to get in to town and my favorite question -- what about 'da bears? Also any camping options on the DC side of the river?
No worries H J.
Tom, great picture, Maybe its the D2D Welcoming Committee meeting about to break up?
OK I did some camping option research. Hard to tell if these are basically RV parking lots or do they have real tent MC friendly friendly spots. Any views or recommendations?

Very few actual tent sites available. More like gravel pads to pitch a tent on. I had planned on camping myself last year and when confronted with the options got a room.
I've camped at the Yukon campground for the last couple D2D's, last year was kinda wet but the campground itself is pretty nice. This year we're renting a room at the Whitehouse cabins for 4, KL5A, KittenRides, and potentially Kubs #1 and #3. The plan is too have Kub #1 borrow a Dawsonable bike (maybe the Pegaso)
And dare I go there again....
Kitten and Kub#3 in the truck. :huh
So how many miles is it to Dawson?
depend's if you turn right or left
My last D2D was in '02 on a KTM. I'll finally be back in '07, not a KTM!
