Year 2012 was the final year of our Ural trilogy. Because of heavy rains we didn't do too many miles in this two weeks journey.

Unfortunately Walter Colebatch didn't join us this year so nobody could write a heroic enough report to post here.
So here are some pictures and I'm ready to answer your questions.

High water in the rivers made us to return and to detour around Nugush Lake a lot of times
    [IMG]

But this tries and detours were real off-road adventure that we came for
    [IMG]

Wild nature spring gave us a time of awakening and new growth
    [IMG]

    We started like this
    [IMG]

Who the fuck showed me this direction?

That’s what happens if you need a tow
    [IMG]

We are searching for a cave

    Found one

For this ride I changed 950 for XR250

People usually ask how we carry tables and chairs and other stuff
    [IMG]

    - we use support vehicles.

And if we don’t have enough vodka
    [IMG]

    we call for a helicopter.

    Second part is coming

Glad you didn't forget the most important thing in adv-riding,
    ... to hydrate. :rofl

    What a ride.
    Great pictures.

Care to give some details on the journey?
One picture shows 16 persons, how large was the party?
In short, anything to post some more pictures, please.

My thoughts exactly. If I had a set (of balls) I'd consider begging an invite for next year. However, I don't think I'm man enough. Great stuff...

22 people in total. We tried to split in groups of 5 people each, but it never worked: Pate always wanted to fix every bike broken; some people didn't like to be in a slow group; the route changed often so everybody should be informed.

This is a very unique kind of traveling and we usually waisted a lot of time because of so many people involved. And every year I say to myself: 'This was the last time I traveled with this huge group!'

More pictures will be in a week because Mishutka, our photographer, is in a moving process.

Part of the forest was protected as a national preserve. Severe rangers gave us permission for three days to cross just the recreation zone. We did a little bit more.
