This Guy I found on the Glumbert video site is a Mechanical master mind.

Just watch this Video of kinetics sculptures to see the epitome of simplicity in motion, somewhere I have some of his pictures, i just need to look for them to complement this posting

    Enjoy.

ps: I place this posting On the "Garage" forum since his concepts and principles are the bases for many motorcycle related ideas.

The minute i have the money I'm ordering his DVD, more to support him that to just have it, since people like this guy show the rest of us that anything is possible...:bow

    Thanks senor.

I guess I do see this in a different way, for example to me this type of work is the epitome of the "Garage", the Purity of concept, the focus of the work, but also the ability to inspire others to follow their dreams, but I guess still to ethereal or to far to reach to see the connections with motorcycles so they keep wondering about the Immediate fixes and the "Nuts & Bolts", when the real discoveries are into the concepts and not into just measurements a la "Martha steward", brands, gadgets or trends..

I just wish I have the command of any spoken language to express my ideas that way, but sadlly I'm not even close to and only in my drawings I can "say what I want".

Your example of safety wire and the airbox mod using the links to a chain are excellent examples of inpsiration to me. If you knew how many times I'm in my garage trying to solve a problem and think to myself "what would Ricky do?" I think you'd be amazed. Sometimes it's enough to come up with a solution that solves the problem and sometimes I want to come up with something elegant and artistic.
I think that the reason people make art is because language is insuffecient to express a lot of what's inside of us.

Thanks, but mine came loaded with the dull ones. Sometimes I can recognize the fun ones in somebody else's work, though.
