Live right on the border of Allen and Van Wert countings, smack dab in the middle of the NTZ. Currently riding a 2000 Yamaha Road Star that I've dumped way to much money into, but looking to add something like a V-Strom or possibly a sport-touring bike to the stable this spring. Got my fill of serious dirt riding by racing motocross when I was younger and have the bad ankles and back to prove it. :lol3

BTW, if you see me coming plug your ears.

Got a 2006 KLX250S in like new condition just before I had my shoulder surgery back in Nov. (timed so I'll be ready to ride in spring). It's better than my CRF230L (now my son's), with much better suspension, but not exactly earth shattering performance.
Did all the typical mods: KDX220 snorkel, jetting, vent mod, de-smog, KLX300 exhaust, cam chain tensioner, etc. Only got to ride it once before going under the knife. Much improved and only cost about $120 all told. Gonna add the Thermo-Bob and my brother got me a Dial-A-Jet kit, so I'll do them in the next couple months .
Got a Ulysses, too. Use it for two-up, twisty roads and gravel or dirt roads. It's a hoot and my wife likes the big comfy seat.
Mostly ride around Tusc., Carroll, Harrison & Gurnsey counties. Anywhere south of RT 39 and east of I-77 you can't lose. The paved roads are twisty and fun and the dirt roads are about as good as it gets in Ohio.
Ride with my brother whenever he's up in the area. He's Krieger of "Krieger Cam Chain Tensioners. He's had a KLX650 for a while and after he rode the 250 he decided liked it so much he went out and got a used one. It's always been him on the 650 and me on the Ulysses or the 230. Finally, we'll be on comparable bikes. We're planning a trip to Michigan to ride the trails up around Tomahawk, south of Burt Lake this spring. Should be a lot of fun.

See you after the thaw . . .

Don't think i've ever posted in here.

Got a Concours 1000 for commuting/long trips/boring or cold rides

KTM 625 supermoto for around town asshattery, gravel riding, and twisty road riding.

Beater CB550 on studs for snow use.

Live in Akron, Rarely go north, spend all my time riding south of canton at least. I've ridden the KTM as far as Marietta for a day trip riding gravel.

Mine's a second year model. Done all the "standard" stuff to control heat and such. Later airbox w/ re-flash, etc. Replaced the rear wheel last year with a newer XB after bearings failed.
I hope I'm good for now, but I appreciate the offer.
    Thanks,
    KK
