    Latest in the season I've ever ridden the Parkway was late September of 2001. Despite electric grips and an Aerostich suit, I froze my [redacted] off on the stretch from Mt. Pisgah to the VA line. Can't imagine how chilly it must be in late November.

    Tim, That is one very cherry Gen 1 KLR, are these pictures recent?

    You have that set up real nice, when these 1st gens had the factory colors working for them they can be good looking. (Within KLR limits that is :-) )
