Just got back form Cartagena. Not on the bike as I was down there getting married, but brought a lot of pics. I definitely need to ride down there!

I'll post a link to the pics as I edit them. Love this country!

Oh, sweet. I assume, then, that you've tried "Bandeja Paisa". That Paisa country is some of the most beautiful in Colombia!

Definitely! We got married in Cartagena, but I was down in Bogota and Manizales a couple of years ago. Loved it down there!

I love the pictures of the lake house, bravo! You'll have to share some more of your riding mojo with the locals this summer, we just did a tremendous Quirk ridge ride tonight, and I definitely thought Raging Squirrel would be in his element.

Excellent RR! :clap Enjoyed reading about your trip after seeing a post you made in the Minimalist Touring Thread (250cc and under) thread. Lots of great information about touring in Columbia, and it's on my visit list now! :deal

I also gave it 5 stars.

Glad you enjoyed it. I too have been inspired to get on the saddle and ride after reading of others' adventures.

Hah, My pleasure. It is one of the better RR's I've seen here! I liked your XR250 multi-day trip too. I've got to say I have not checked out your others...yet.

I hope you're doing well. Do you still keep in touch with Amiga? That was such a cool trip the two of you took!

Yes, I still stay in touch with her. As well as some of the folks we met along the trip. She moved back to Colombia and I get down there for work or travel every couple years or so.
