Okies in Northwest Arkansas Oct 17-19

Alright its time for some of us Okies to spend some quality time riding into the depths of the NWA. Me the Mad*Sparrow and friends are hitting every back road and hillbilly hide out that makes up that fairytale dual sport land called Arkansas! We may combo our trip into an Ozark Overnighter but regardless we are heading out of Oklahoma on October 17th and Coming back around the 19th. So any of you FF's that would like to camp or ride along with us are more then welcomed. We plan on riding beyond our skill set in true redneck fashion it is sure to be entertaining.




For those of you who might already be in the area, here is a pic of our bikes so you can salute us while we are in the NWA

there are a couple of us thinking of a camp/ride in OCT too, from devils den and around the white rock/mill creek forest area.

likely either oct 18, or 25th weekend.

Trying to find a dirt bike to borrow and go out there and camp.

So, do you guys have a route planned out?

Now this has possibilities on Sunday the 19th on the way back out of Arkansas!

Working on it! I would like to put a couple of quality camping spots together and let everyone work out the routes. What do you think about riding to Devils Den on Friday 17th and then to the Oark Cafe for lunch or Brunch on Sat 18th. then go North to the Buffalo river/national forest area? Just thinking, waiting on a better idea.

That sounds good to me. I've backpacked/camped on the Buffalo National river. It's one of my favorite places.

I'm already counting the days until the ride.

What can I say? I am ready. I don't know about Devils Den (just because I don't know Devils Den) but I've wanted to go by Oark. Let's do it. But I'm still open to whatever's decided just as long as I get some mileage on the sides of my tires. Dirty would be nice too.

I know nothing of Devils Den other then I think we can camp there. I am hoping someone chimes in on it. I think everyone will be in on the Oark stop.

Good Call ! Shores Lake looks a lot better then the Devils Den. That puts us in position to have breakfast or brunch at the Oark cafe.

Here is what I have so far, I am digging the Shores Lake for the 1st night! I am sure Jay can give us an idea for the Satuday night camp!
