I'm with you on the weekend issue. I teach all day on Saturdays starting next week. I have some repairs to do on my steed before I'm mobile, but lets try to plan something in the near future. Mkay? Great.

Soon as we get a good 70+ degree weekend I want to head to oark and probably camp wolf pen gap. Kinda what I"m thinking anyway.

Yes, I'm a big vag and don't ride under 65 degrees. :fyyff

How about January 24th?? Also if you don't like the camping temperature (silver):kumbaya I have indoor accommodations in the town of Stroud at my Man Cave. You can snuggle up next to your bike.

I can probably make that work. That means that I must take my son camping next weekend.

You are practically my neighbor. I live in Coweta. I ride at Gruber on my KTM and just started doing some ds stuff on a KLR. We ride through Ft Gibson sometimes when we do a ride around the lake. There is several other ds guys close to me, Rufus, Highfive, Vinnie the Snake and others not too far away. We need to meet sometime and maybe ride together.

I saw you also had a post in the Latin America forum. I am going to Mexico in a couple of weeks. Will be my first time to Copper Canyon.

    Oh WOW,

I'm gone outa town for a week for work and we're up to 3 pages already.

The 24th at Stroud sounds great.

Hey Throttle, I've been there too.

I always just liked the song, Merle Haggard I think. I live up 69 at Pryor Creek. Here's my Mexico report from last year on the area:

I've meet a few of those guys I think at the weekly meets at Cancun Mexican place in Tulsa on Fridays.

Have a great time south of the border, I know I do. John:1drink

Hi, I am in CO right now, but I am an AWACS guy and my days away from the frisbee are numbered. I will be back in the fall, but if we're trying to build a 300 page thread I figure you're gonna need all the help you can get.

I actually was a pure sportbike guy until I moved here and got bit by the DS bug pretty hard. I still have my daily rider, track bike and two projects, I have a DR 400 and love single track stuff.

Gonna have to make one of those Fri meets at Cancun. I went once but was late getting there and everyone was leaving.

Read your Mexico ride report. Really enjoyed it. Don't think I would have the balls to go by myself though. At least not the first time. Reading your ride report has me even more pumped for Mexico.
