Starts, runs, rides. all electrics work, clutch, gearbox, brakes, etc, all excellent. a little carb roughness but that can be resolved.
second owner now 90 years old, turned it over to his son about ten years ago. retired commercial passenger pilot, he went through it and rode a bit, then went on to a modern steed.
all period accoutrements removed with exception of spill guards.
That must be only 18 000 miles since those OEM mufflers look like new. They also worth far bit of cash since most have rotted away. A few years ago a 76 gl1000 with 23 000 proven miles on it went for 20 grand.

Rode all over the state of Colorado on the same make model during med school. Smooth, simple, no problems.
I have that exact bike ready to be redone in my garage.
Sweet! What kind of shape? It's been pretty easy to work on, although I haven't really gotten into the engine. It was sitting in a dudes carport for 6 years with a blanket over it, and I paid way too much for a non runner lol. I am a sucker for old unrestored bikes. Still not running the way I want it to, and leaks some oil.
