Same bike. It was the black version from about 1979-2016, the blue/white version from 2016-2021, and I just switched it back to the black version again. I think I like the black version better, but it’s a fairly easy switch, just an afternoon project. All I changed this time were the tank, seat, rear fender, side covers, and turn signals…pretty easy work for a really different look, all just bolt-on stuff.

Here's a video and YT channel that I think you'd find interesting. This guy, William Moser, demonstrates with lights and sound how different engines of different cylinder counts and firing orders work.
This one is for a Laverda Jota.

Agreed. Something about 90s era sport bikes in general.

I had a '79 T140E in college, and the late parallel-intake Bonnies will forever be my favorites. I loved/hated that bike, but the love was always more intense than the hate.

I spent some time speaking with a guy who's friends with the man that built this Curtiss 3 cylinder replica. He had previously built a couple of Curtiss V-twins and decided it was time to build a triple.
He went at it like a job putting in 40 or more hours a week and finished it in a 18 months.
It looks awesome and runs well. Curtiss built 3 of these triple and none are known to still exist , this replica was made from scratch using the available photos left.

"This replica was made from scratch using the available photos left" Good lord! Just let that statement sink in and realize what a monumental task it was
