Great ride guys! Thanks again to Gage for putting this trip together. Here are a few more pics to supplement the ones Brian posted.

Meeting in Quilcene Saturday morning for breakfast before beginning the ride.

A nice sight at the end of a great day of riding.

    That's gas burning, not wood!

Mood wood. The only mood engendered by this wood was one of frustration as it would smolder but not burn.

After some scouting we determined this road really was closed.

This loop was my favorite part of the ride.

Even though I had a little get-off when I failed to navigate a turn in deep gravel.

No harm done beyond a broken mirror. Next time I will have some proper tires instead of the Gripsters.

This is the road where we expected the rest of the group to emerge. Doesn't it look inviting? I wish we would have at least checked it out.

    Mt. Olympus I think.

A pack of wild airhead GS's.

Terry knows how to take it easy.

    Terry and Gage's R80G/S's.

The ride home was quite pleasant, even if it was on pavement.

Nice report, guys! As I sit hear loading and reloading the printer over and over again as it spits out fresh '08 Editions of the tour, it's great to read and see pics of the parts of your adventure I didn't get to join you guys on.

I'm still in disbelief that none of you guys in the (?)years you've been doing this haven't been on the "lost road" of Route D!! It's like this mysterious road we've read and heard about, and even seen the ends of but aren't really sure what lies further down and whether we'd emerge unscathed... I think you all would've enjoyed it. Next year, right?

Good riding with you guys while I could and enjoying a night around the fire. Sorry I missed the rest of you.

Maybe see some of you on September 13th-15th when the route is rehashed and I cook dinner and breakfast for those that come along??

The '08 Editions are finally shipping out... Come and get 'em!!

I am a career fireman in Ocean Shores, and pulled two kids off the face of that canyon, just below that bridge this last winter. Beautiful country. Is your riding group exclusive or are you open for a tag-a-long on your next trip around the penninsula? I would love to see more of this area.

Definitely have to do video next time cause some of those roads were just amazing.

I'm still cleaning dust out of my bike! Maybe we can have Baja Dave drive a water truck ahead of us next time :evil

OK. So I"m a liltle late, my computer's busted. It was really great to see some old friends and make some new ones! Sorry to Baja Dave I didn't have the route but I didn't know I was going until the last minute. I'll get some pics up when my new motherboard gets here.
Geeze Dan, 17,000 fucking posts? What did you do retire? We gotta ride again.
