    Save A Triumph <?xml:namespace prefix = o /><o:p></o:p>

    “ONE LESS HARLEY” license frame

    <o:p></o:p>

Proceeds from “ONE LESS HARLEY,” license plate frame are going to help fund the restoration of a true classic motorcycle a 1970 Triumph T100C (single carb, 500 cc), pictured here. This is the 1st motorcycle I ever road. The bike deserves to be brought back to reliable (as reliable as a 70’s Triumph can be) and safe condition.
Hopefully through the sales of the license frame I’ll be able to get “ONE LESS HARLEY,” on the road.
As you can probably guess, I’m not a fan of loud rolling jukeboxes and what better way to show you individuality than with the “ONE LESS HARLEY,” frame. Perfect for any BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki,Moto Guzzi, Suzuki, Triumph. If you think this is a good idea I would appreciate you telling a friend about these. Thanks for reading anyway.<o:p></o:p>

I think he has many. $15 won't go very far restoring that bike.

Oh yeah I've got plenty right now. Kind of anxious about the responce I'll get. I was working on the R1150RS (oil change) when the typical loud Harley road by and then this weird idea came by my twisted mind. So there's the story on the plate idea.

You can see some of my progress at the web page listed earlier. I'd be interested if you buy one let me know what sort of bike you'll be putting it on.

If you are selling these, this probably belongs in vendors. That forum moves a little slower too, so you won't end up on page 7 in one or two days..

The frame idea is kinda cool....though it may "provoke" a few of the humorless "lifestyle" biker types (the ones that can read :lol3 )

I like it, but I think you would provoke more action than you wanted here in SC.

I'll follow your advice and list it under the vendor section so it doesn't get burried.

    Good Idea

Get one of the moderators to move it so you don't have duplicate threads.

This may seem silly but how do I do that?? I didn't want to swamp the list w/ the post as some may see it as too much.

That's one of those things I'll gladly chuckle at, but wouldn't even begin to consider putting on a bike of mine - since sooner-or-later I'd likely find it on its side with a boot-mark on the tank. :nod

Go to the main Flea Market page. Down at the bottom right corner of the page is a box that says "Moderators." Marc's name is there. Click on it and send him a PM asking to move the thread; copy and paste the thread link into your PM. It's also possible that by the time you do that, he'll move the thread.

A little overboard on your response.

Money isn't really the issue as the bike will be restored one way or the other. It just so happens that I started working on the bike at the same time as the plate idea and why not tie the two together. I thought the plate might generate some laughs (in a twisted way) from other bikers or cagers.
