    1) It's marque, dumbass.
    2) Of course he's trying to make money off of us, he says so.
    3) WTF would be wrong with one less Harley? Or hundreds less? Or none?

    Bran is good advice.

"One less Harley" Is not Harley bashing. I like Harley Davidsons and it does not offend me. I hope you sell hundreds and get another classic on the road.

I stand by my post. I think it's stupid.
Better on a restored bide would be one that says "One less ______ in the junkyard".
I see by your profile that you have owned many HD's in the past. (Not):D
    Keep bashing.:rofl

It'd be interesting to see what would happen to the bike and/or rider when that frame was viewed by a Harley-riding MC. Contrary to what a lot of folks like to believe around here, they are not all harmless dentists. Come on down to my AO with that on your bike and see how far you get :lol3

My personal opinion is the seller of this frame is a dumbass, and anyone who buys one is a dumbass as well.

I'd sure hate to think I was such a pussy that I would be to scared to put this on a bike for fear of 'what might happen'

I get so sick of the 60 horse power open drag pipe no ridin turds that I think these plates should be mandatory for board users.

There's just enough trouble around without asking for any, IMHO.

I could also include in my profile that I've had neither the clap nor a frontal lobotomy. I don't need to sample those to know I don't want them either.

    :rolleyes

Ever come back to your bike & find it on its side?
I have - in a location not accessible by cars & no other logical explanation than it was knocked over purposely - given the hick-town I was in, I'd bet money it was due to it being a 'rice burner'.
There's a big difference between avoiding potential trouble (with no payoff) & 'being a pussy' - and in the wrong place, I ga-ron-tee that could spell trouble (even if 'only' in the form of a knocked-over/fucked-with bike).

Do you wear gear? A helmet?
If so - Why, are you a pussy? :ksteve

Problem is that those who can read might know how to spell response and know the difference between road and rode.

    Let the bashing resume...

with that exmple it's like asking a soldier if he's a pussy for wearing his body armor.

    duuuu

I'd be a pussy if I didn't wear a helmet so I could attempt fit into the image of those big bad mean biker types some folks seem to be skeered of

Next you need to make a "One Less GS" frame for the KTM guys, they will eat that up.

How about "I'm practical (& Cheap)" for the KLR guys

How about "better than a KLR (without that dangerous water cooling)" for the DR650guys.

How about "Viagra won't help my shaft" for the GS guys.

    Stir the pot!!!!

Where I live unattended bikes get kicked over all the time. My parking garage advises me not to park a in bike there. Here in Memphis we have a little problem with "you have one and I don't, so I'm going to F yours up" That makes for a bad situation no matter what you ride.

The turd's riding ability and his ability/willingness to throw a Tri-State beatdown on someone who offends him are generally not directly proportional :deal

Sorry to hear you thought what I said was BS, God bless America and free speech! Have fun with your new plate holder, glad I could help :thumb

Seems lots of folks on this board have convinced themselves these "turds" are harmless RUB poser wanna-be's. I wouldn't expect many of you run in the same circles as they do, nothing wrong with that. I do, and for the most part they are decent folks - there's always that 10% in any crowd, however. Sadly, trying to convince people of that around here is like pissing up a rope.

What you should consider is not the intent of what something/someone says, but how other people will take it. I think most folks see it as HD bashing (look at the original post - that says it all :deal ), so don't be surprised of you put it on your scoot and end up in an "incident".

In the spirit of a free-market economy I hope the seller makes gobs of money, but I still stand by my original post :D

i'm not exactly sure what a 'Tri-State' beat down is, but if you ever get to KBay, shoot me an email/pm. I'm just a few miles down the road - I'll let you kick my bike over. :1drink

I wouldn't kick your bike over for any reason (or anyone elses for that matter), but I can't speak for some of the MC's that ride in my AO. Chances are fair that if you rode in South Houston with that on your bike you'd find out what a Tri-State Beatdown was :thumb

Since I don't ride a HD this lame plate thing isn't really an issue to me personally. What is an issue is brand-bashing, but like I say, discussing that with folks around here is like pissing up a rope.

A "Tri-State Beatdown" must be something like a "Country Ass Whippin"! :lol3
Sorry, don't mean to make fun of that wording, it just made me laugh out loud!:lol3 :lol3 That's a new one on me.

I'm not so sure If I'd take offense to something like the wording on that tag holder. Heck, Do you think they don't try to 1. Be Seen 2. Be Loud 3. Be Seen as an Outlaw, Leather Neck, etc...........? They want people to notice them. OK, they are being noticed,..........maybe not the way they would like, but the way others see them. So, they should'nt get all roughed up about it.
    I think I'll order one.
