Do you remember what model car it was? Just curious.
It was an older model sedan . . . Toyota or Nissan . . . . but not 100% sure. It was pretty run-down and as mentioned had a family in it . . . . definitely did not look like any kind of criminal

A bandsaw next to the grill! Brilliant!!
Good god, if that isn`t a small chopping stump on the grill, it`s one hell of a steak!
For about $325 pesos! $17 U.S.
I was out riding in Mexico City the other day near the Plaza de la República when my eye was caught by two guys in bright green coveralls. One was sitting on the sidewalk with his back against a building wall. The other guy was standing up in front of him with his coveralls around his ankles and his bare ass pressed against the other guys face. Sadly, my GoPro was out of juice so I didn't capture any images . . . but this is by far the weirdest thing I've ever seen while riding. People were walking past on the street, apparently oblivious to what the two guys were doing. Really, really weird.
Thank God for dead batteries.
Martin Scorsese exhibit in Monterey contemporary museum. With Planet Hollywood going bankrupt, the price of a storage unit in Los Angeles going through the roof. They figured a way to store their junk and get paid for it!

Now you know why the Pemex turnstile is so cramped.
The mercado next to the Pemex in San Ignacio was like that for years, gone now, made room for other stuff in the store. Similar deal in Mulege, as I drove in, the cows were being cut up on the right hand side of the highway. Now its a welding shop. Local carne es muy bueno!
In Batopilies I saw a guy butcher what looked like a quarter of beef on the chest freezer in the front window. Blood running down the sides.
@brasscycle posted this last October. A couple butchering road kill cows on the side of the road.
Leo used to work in Detroit, for GM. In the late eighties he moved back to Saltillo to work for the new GM plant. This also happens to be his hometown. Here is Leo prepping a baby goat (cabrito) for his wife's 70th birthday.
In the background is a hill, on the other side is the GM plant.
Excellent prediction. Made in Dec 2012. Page 14 of this thread. Only in Mexico!
Guess who else predicted AMLO would one day be president?? And he wasn’t being sarcastic like Mike was.
I don't see the "Only in Colombia" thread. A ver si no me regañan.
