Chicha is a southern version of pulque.
Portuñol is like Spanglish, but on the Brazilian borders.
This tire fix COULD be in Mexico, but it was the spare on a Nissan Patrol collectivo that we boarded in the Colombian coffee zone.
Mac mini? Inside a shopping mall in Medellin.

Okay, done with my travesuras now, back to Mexico with ya.

You see the hat. I see the evil eye you're getting from Arturo "Tres Dedos" Colimante.

Sign that Mr Turkeycreek told me about, later I got to see some for myself. It doesn't make much sense to me, so I ran it through Google Translate, and it looks like the meaning is "Puta madre, BooBoo, vamonos! Mejor le decimos al Esmokey que no nos quieren por este tramo!"

And speaking of that P-word, the other sign is not a notice that the town has a Pemex, it's a notice that Ethyl Pump lives there. I guess she retired in Sonora.

It's not uncommon to see signs that have worn unevenly or have been vandalized to make them read something different.

How about some great things that are only in Mexico? I got to swim in a cenote. In the US they would NEVER let you swim in the pond inside a cavern. We lounged on stalactites, it was awesome!
