My dad has entered bikes in the show for the last 6 years or so, he was the pres of the GWTA chapter in this area for a few years. They would wheel the bikes in Thurs and wheel them out Sun night. I think things usually went well for them, got alot of interest. They had an area about 30 x 40 at one point. Variety of sizes for booths to get. I saw the ODSC had a small 10 x 10 booth there a couple years ago with just a couple bikes. What are you thinking?

They will give us a 40x40 space - as long as we can fill it with bikes and "cool stuff". There's going to be some media attention with this - something to think about.

I'll bring a laptop + LCD projector. We'll put together a bunch of great pics to play over the weekend.

Hey, That sounds like fun. Who's idea was this exactly? and how exactly does ADVrider benefit? Is it just a general promotion of dual-sport type riding?

I could definitely lend a hand and bring my bashed and scuffed up Orange beast. Maybe fill half that 40 x 40 ft area with a big mud hole and every hr on the hr we can roost through it :evil . Inbetween the roosting we can have mud wrestling with hot girls. Can we be next to the beer tent??:clap

No, didnt think there was any money to be made and if they are donating the space to us then it sounds like a great way to promote our type of riding. More importantly we get to hang out and talk bikes all weekend. :clap Count me in... sniff sniff, I smell beer nuts!:D

(Kahoon, can you wash my bike for this event?...on second thought, I'll bring her in her natural state...DIRTY!)

These shows are a lot of fun. :deal

I was going to bring the PD in all her filthy glory and maybe set up a small tent. Makes it look "adventurous" and gives us a place to store our gear between shifts.

20 bikes seems like a safe bet with all the bike/truck owners in the crowd. And if your bike's in the display and you're willing to man the booth for a shift... you get in FREE.
