So.... I take it there were some people interested in what we do... you know, riding our bikes here and there. ... I also see there are a few noob's who posted in this thread.

It'll be neat to see how many people show up to *survive* the Spring Kick Off ride...

We've got a pool going on how far you'll survive the spring kick-off ride... before you crash.

We've got another pool running on who you'll crash into.

There's a third pool on "time to crash" but it's all filled up for the first ten minutes.

    :lol3

    How was the ski trip?

Good seeing some of you at the show yesterday! Although I was only at the booth for an hour or so it was nice to see the interest from people in the whole Adventure riding thing. The "we're not a club" thing was exactly what alot of people seem to be intrigued by which I thought was great.

Thanks to all who put in the effort to make our presence known. It'll be interesting to see the turnout for the Spring ride.

Ski trip was a blast... crashed on my first run (go figure!). Meh... I'm blaming on the binding! :D

Anyway, the time I did spend on top of my ski's... is it ever great to feel that speed again. Wish I had my GPS with me, I swear you can hit 120kph on some of those runs.

Unless gps's have gotten a lot more clever recently, your down hill speeds would be pessimistic as reported by your gps.

afaik, they only display speed accurately while traveling on flat ground in a more or less straight line.

Correct me if they've figured out how to caluclate accurate altitude deltas into the speed calcs.

Adiablolex! Thank you for taking the time to chat about the tires on Saturday.

What a success! :super By far, this was the in the top 10 best ever bike shows I've been to over the past 20 years. It's getting better and better every time.

Next show, if there's an Ontario ADVrider booth (it would be insane not to have a booth), I'll definitely bring my vstrom and help out.

    Best Regards,
    Johnny007

MUCH better than the previous bike show :nod

Thanks Uber for sticking up uber dodgy gay pics on the OADVRiders piccy slide show.

Always a pleasure to see the gang, Alex/Dragan/Marv/Kevin/Dave/Jill - I think all the rest were new guys to A and I?

    Bravissimo... :clap
