Spotwalla of my New Year's day ride.
170 mile round trip.
High temp of 29°F.
Not sure if I have previously posted this photo, but since this is supposed a photo thread about my rides...........
An interesting week at the home place.
Was on the computer the other day, left the room, returned to a dead computer. My older son diagnosed a dead power supply (he built the computer several years ago). So after his second and a half shift job, he replaced it. Viola! It works again! And too boot, when he put the tools up (?!) he found my wedding band on the garage floor........!
Thinking it looks like a(nother) good year!
Glad you found your wedding band! Lost mine a couple of years ago and never found it. My wife bought a replacement in order to re-stake her claim. (Was afraid she'd use the loss as an opportunity to get rid of me.)
Lost my first one in AIT; October 1969. Same thing, lost weight, skinny fingers.
Cheeseburgers and chocolate shakes appear to be the solution.
Had a bit of a ride yesterday. I seem to forget to take photos......

Forgot this dogwood. Saw several pretty wisteria but was way too slow on the camera.
Hi from NZ !
Long time no chat.
Hi Shane, good to hear from you! Looking forward to more of your NZ pictures.
We have had a pretty cool and wet year so far, but it is about time to get more out and about.
Winter has definitely arrived a bit early here. Temps around 40F, hail, lots of snow on the passes....
Am updating old threads (due Photobucket problems a while back) and reediting pics so look out for those.
Well, I got a new camera so am trying to figger it out...!
Went for a ride a little downstate yesterday, here we go.
First things first, picked up this SC State Tag.
After taking care of other business, I moved the tag here.
Behind the tag location.
On up the road a bit, still working on 'on the fly shots'.
A couple from our yard today.
Great pics and the new camera is doing great!
What’s the new camera?
Thank you, Eric!
Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS60. Panasonic have a newer model of this camera so I was able to get it about 1/2 price. I have been using Nikon stuff so have to learn new tricks to shoot in RAW. Far cry from my first camera; Brownie 127 roll film, $7.00 & 4 Lipton tea box tops, sometime in the 1950s.
It takes purdy pics Loren!
I’ve always been a bit of a Lumix fanboi
Went for another ride Friday past. A little North Carolina mountains ride this time.

There are lots of fixer uppers in this area, near Bakersville, NC.
Thought this was a really nice looking place. Still have to work on pointing the point and shoot where I want it.
The barn from the previous shot.
More rustic scenery.
I did not realize this place was inhabited until I was nearly past it.
Nobody home here though.
Loafer's Glory, NC.

Hard to shoot backwards! You can barely make out the water wheel.
