Opa Rides

Did not get started until afternoon. 3 inches of rain yesterday, so waited for drying sunshine. High water could be called the theme of the day. Sign says Pacolet River, and this is about the middle of Lake Blalock, an area reservoir.

Unfortunately, I did not have the camera out when I crossed the Broad River; it really was on this day! And fast! So here is the Second Broad River (it will shortly empty into the Broad River) at the old mill at Cliffside, NC.

I have already crossed the bridge, going to walk back to look. 2nd Broad River again, this time between Bostic and Forest City.
