Alaskajeff, a lot cheaper, yes, TO....YOUR....DOOR. Hard to believe I know. Trust me. Like I said. I wanted to keep it local but the difference is astounding. I change my own tires.
I expect they will change their shipping policy soon!
When I moved from Anchor Point to Fargo the distance to my local BMW dealer grew a few miles. I recall the shipping hassles getting stuff in AK.

I have bought tires locally, and from various online shops.
I like ProCycle for my DR and TW stuff and they ship tires by mail with just a simple band around the tire with the address and postage on it.
No box needed.
They stock some tires and can get anything.
They aren't the cheapest, but they are very helpful and ship asap.
I like to buy local when possible but if nobody has what I need and will have to order it I usually order it myself and get it delivered to my door.
