I wasn't going to say anything, but I'll admit it, I was reading along=lurker! Really liked this RR, some great scenery. You guys do alot more than I would bit off. Thanks from a lurker.

    Hi 4r22mny,
We haven't tried running Tubliss. The benefit of running Tubliss is you can run lower pressures and not get pinch flats.
The problems we have running lower pressures aren't just pinch flats. With big heavy bikes you can easily put the rim right through the tire.
That leaves you with snake bites in your sidewalls. No bueno!

Lower pressures ultimately lead to severely bent rims. And bent rims don't work with Tubliss.

The last reason is, none of the tires we run are rated tubeless.

    Hey guys,

I was waiting for Matt to come by and wave at you first...
(didn't want to steal his thunder)

Thanks again for all the nice comments. It was great to have everyone along.
I know it meant a lot to Matt to have your support.
He was worried that he'd do a ride report and no one would show up...
You all proved him wrong! :freaky

    Sorry, kendall -
Including linkies adds a stupid amount of time to an already daunting task...
It was all Matt could do, just to get the report out there.

A big RR takes a lot out of a person.
One third less sleep + double the caffeine and alcohol consumption =
    [IMG]

This was the first time Matt got to experience it first hand, and not just as an innocent bystander. :lol3

But, here's some Ron F**king Swanson for you...

and a brief explanation of why you shouldn't hold your breath for another ride report...

    :lol3

To ktmnate, advrockrider, catfish, tilliejacques - and everyone else who is getting ready for a Baja trip -
Hope you all have a great time!
Enjoy some tacos and cervezas for us. :D
We want to hear all about it when you get back...

    Buen viaje!

...all I can add is how we're all OSO lucky to have you guys do these rides and reports. :D
You guys (and Kelly) are awesome. :nod:bow:wings
Thank you for the effort you put out there. Matt, you did a fine job, you too Kelly.

From another lurker, great job on the report! You must have had a great teacher. :pot. Hey Littlewan!

The Osos tackled some great roads and even coached a noob into a great adventure. Keep up the great riding and reporting. Don't lose that GoPro. The video of your taste of Dakar "Christmas in February" really did help take us there. That's the kind of road I dream of riding. It looked and sounded like a lot of fun.

    Thanks
    Mike

Oso depressing, nothing to rush home and read now! Whens the next trip? I guess I will just sit here and drink untill our trip next month. Can't wait to hit window rock and green door on my 990. Thanks for the hard work and inspiration. What kind of company do you have, run? I'm sure you sell something I need....

:scratch Do you mean WanCo Industries™?

haha, unfortunately, we got our career advice from Lloyd Dobler.

WanCo Industries™ doesn't sell anything. That's just my little joke. :D
A name I made up for sion's Pain and Tension award:

But, I guess you could say we're in the glamorous, high-paying ($ 0.00) business of creating ride reports - crafted with love - for your viewing pleasure.

    Orange koolaid,
served up with a side of cartoons and old-ass pop culture references.
With the occasional meaningless award thrown in.

Seeing as how you have a trip planned for Baja...
You already bought what we're selling. :evil :lol3

It was a pleasure doing business with you!

    :rofl

    You bought it?? congratulations...
    (I think)
    :lol3

    OK, time for dinner...

:evilI am at page 29. FFFKKK, FFFKKK, FFFKKK

I have been gone (yea riding for a few days) and I scroll and scroll backwards to catch up where I left off. Man oh man this RR scrolls as fast as Team Osso rides. Now to catch up. I guess I will turn on some good music a tall beer and sit back for a ride and the finish.

I love Team Bear, you guys are the bomb. And lastly, let me say that Mr. Big Wans Matt has done an excellent job. With the mentoring of your incredible Little Wans you have done Yeomen's work on this report. Too much effort and time on your part and Mrs. Bad Ass Wans. Let me collectively say you reach out, inspire, motivate, drool, hrumph hurmph, make us hungry, captivate, humiliate and enlighten your ADV hombres.

Salute and thank you Team Oso

:evil By the time I catch up, Matt will respond back something nice to me. Just another reason in the list of 100 ways to make a great ride report. :freaky

I absolutely love your enthusiasm, thank you. :clap

So, from one team to another. I give you this. :D

Come on Paul, you'll have twice the riders and half the time. So, don't eat just 1 taco.
The challenge is to eat over 120 tacos. :lol3

Well I drove through Ten Sleep yesterday coming from Buffalo. It was white and squirrely up on the hill. As I was in the company vehicle I didn't stop at the Brewery.
