Love that song...High School driving around in a 68' GTO and listening to the Sabbath " Paranoid" 8 track that played non stop. Thanks for giving it a new coat of paint.

    Great synchronicity with the video.

Hey so sorry I'm late for the party. Hand me a Taco.

Let the video's, pictures, narrative and Baja fodder continue.

Big Wans or Little, always the best RR's ever. Green Door Trail; Nirvana.

    Day 3 continued

Now that we’re warmed up, it was time for some single track. Window rock trail begins just after the Calamuje wash.

I know everybody likes his or her own bike the best. So, with that in mind here’'s a picture of pure sex on a stick. I love this bike.

We were all excited to ride this trail.

We were hoping it would be flowy and fun, with lots of sand and rocks of course.

It was great, everything we had hoped for. We were some Happy Osos :clap

It was neat being that far out in the desert, following that little ribbon of trail. The desert had a different feel than it does off the larger roads. It felt new or undisturbed.

We were being careful not to leave the track or tear up the trail.

Lunch = a handful of trail mix.

Bartek was missing his meals, but didn'’t complain. Not once.

Not many big bikes ride this stuff. You can tell by how close together the cacti are, some parts are really narrow.

We were removing thorns from our arms, legs, hands and bags for days after this.

Nice. looks like you bailed 1/2 way out to Aqua Amarga. It runs all the way into BOLA along the coast, but you rode the best part. The beginning gives you a sense that it's going to flow all the way through, then the technical part hits. I'm impressed. No way in hell I would take my 990 through the technical section. Heros!

    Hey Joe,
Good to see you. You're our video litmus test, if you think they're OK then we're doing alright.
    :lol3

    Hi Dickie,
Glad you're along for the ride and you like the vids.

    Hi rhodeydog,
To be honest, I'd probably crash if I tried to ride slow in the sand.
    Thank you and you're welcome.

    Hi Skyclad,
Same here, speed is always your friend...until it isn't.
    :lol3

Hi oldxr, Hope you had a good trip home. It's hard to stop and take pics when you're in the shit. GoPro screen captures are great for that.

Hey dano619, 6x9's that's funny. Glad you liked the video.:D

Thanks, camping out there is the way to go.

    Hi Jeremy,
Yeah, we had our dampers cranked up for most of this ride.:D

You're welcome. Some songs really bring you back, as does the term "8 track." :rofl

    Hi AteamNM,
I was wondering when you were going to get here. Better late than never.

Damn it, we had no idea we took a bail out. We were just following the tracks.:cry
So, technically, Moto Vaquero and Lennys took the bail out. :rofl

    Great report!
Window rock trail looks like fun. Where is it? Have any GPS tracks?
Also, does the trail end at the rock requiring returning the same way or does it continue on?
    Thanks!

For some reason the first and third videos are not playing for me. They will start but run 30 seconds or so and then stop.
I'm working on it cause I Love your Videos and ride reports.
I'm glad you are letting Little Wan help out, you have to keep Miss Kelly Happy! :rofl

With my slow service almost all videos do that (for some reason vimeo vids are not too bad) but if I just wait . . . and wait . . . and wait, eventually they download some more (?buffering? :dunno) and continue playing.

Sorry for the highjack here. Green Door and Window Rock were some of the best Baja riding we did, but it's all Baja.

Definitely Subscribed!! Thanks for taking us along!

Bummer, we missed you guys by about 6 hours in Gonzaga Bay. We spent a week there. one of my favorite places on the planet.

In good company - Oso Locos and Beyond Starbucks:

We got to visit with Coco and upgraded Coco's bottle opener while we were there. Coco is one tough cookie for sure and always in good spirits. He is doing much better than the last time I was there.

Ouch! I don't bail out on much. I've done the reverse way a couple o times from the coast which sends you down a goat trail. This would be pretty tough going up. I guess there is a way to bypass it but haven't done that yet.

Man, there is some narrow shit on the WR trail between boulders. That must have been interesting.
I can see those bags on the sides as cactus catchers. The cholla cactus out there are on steroids I'm thinking.

    Good Job :clap
