Mason Racing's DARC (Dirty Adventure Riding Club), is holding it's final ride of the year. This is a big bike friendly dual sport ride starting from Henniker, NH on Columbus Day, Oct 11th. Rain date will be Oct. 17th. With sun and warm temperatures forecast for Monday no need for a rain date. Foliage is at peak this weekend.

Meet at The Intervale Pancake House at 8:00 for breakfast. Intersection of Rt 114 and Flanders Rd. This is peak fall color weekend and the leaf peepers will be out in force which means the pancake house will be busy. We need to get in right at 8:00. Get there on time with your bikes fully fueled up.

This will be a group ride, no route sheets or arrows. 150 miles +- of scenic back roads. There will be 9 easy optional off-road sections (knobby tires highly recommended given all the rain we've had in the last week) with map by-passes. No loud exhaust systems. The sound meter is my ear. If I don't like what I hear your riding solo somewhere else that day. This is not an enduro bike ride (turkey run). This is for QUIET street legal Adventure and dual sport bikes. ****** No numbers on your side covers****** This is not a race!!!!!! Urals welcome!!! Chris, Mike?

Call 603-426-7597 if lost or running late.

After reading a report from there last ride and checking out those pics...looks like fun..!.
Where are the cheap rooms around there, I looked for a while today and only see $100.00 and up ?.Probably a little cold for a tent, but I guess I could use this for an excuse to buy a good one. Hhmm..

Unfortunately all the prices are jacked up due to all the leaf peepers in town.
Some riders have stayed in Brattleboro where the rates are better.

chief Nice Rumble, of the Noise Police?
I just bough the bike and plan on going threw and taken it a part over the winter but before so would like to get some riding in before it is time to get the sleds ready.

I do not think it is loud now, I like quite bike as well and plan on puting a silancer muff on if i can find one, so I understand and respect the concern with the noise level.

Sailer-While you're certainly welcome to join us I'm not sure you or your bike would be happy. The majority of the bikes are medium to large Adventure bikes geared more for the open road. While a street legal fully registered, insured and inspected KTM 300 EXC can certainly traverse these same roads it's heart is really in the woods where it can show it's prowess in the tight technical sections. This is why you see lots of machines like yours in New England enduros and Turkey Runs and not DR650's, KLR650's, GS BMW's and Honda XR650L's. I would recommend the 2010 Noble Woods Turkey Run which is being held this Sunday the 10th out of Acton, ME.

Kim, Kim, Kim, that's all I ever hear. Kim, Kim, Kim....

Jeez, you'd think she was cute n' all and rode a motorcycle, and was real nice or something. What? She is all that? Oh, never mind.

But just to show you that I can still make you pay, I am going to show up and Kim is going to work! :lol3

    Payback is a Bit$%. Eh?

    :rofl

Great ride Skip, thanks. Here are a couple of shots for everyones enjoyment. And for the record I dont like the GSA off road. It will do it but some of that stuff is for light fun bikes.
