Hi folks, Can someone kindly tell me what the stock rear shock spring rate is for the NC700X (2013 in my case) ?
My google-fu is weak for this particular topic.

I'm sure one of the more knowledgeable folk will chime in soon.
If not, nc700 forum.com. They have detailed info on such things.

Thanks for the reply, but I came up dry searching the nc700 forum yesterday. The racetech website says to “call”, so still no joy.

Perhaps contact a fella on 700x forum......he goes by 670cc. I think he's a moderator, he's on the forum all the time / lots of posts. Also other folks.....dduelin, janus several others but I can't recall their " name's ". The info is there.
If your searching efforts go like mine do , it's better to contact directly with someone.

I really doubt you'll be able to find a definitive answer. If it's important enough to you, probably your best bet to get an approximate answer is to disassemble your rear shock (assuming it's stock) and measure your spring. Then find an online spring rate calculator - there are at least a few I've seen - and plug in the values you measured. As I recall, you'll want to measure the free (uncompressed) spring length, coil count, wire diameter, and coil diameter. At a guess, this oughtta get ya within +/- 10 to 15%

I have never seen the stock spring rate in print. I have a zero mile original shock and I’ll look at it and see if the rate is on the spring.

I like the DCT tech and its wind management with a Madstad make it the bike I’d choose over the others to ride on hot muggy summer days. I sold the last one to make room for the RT but I have more room now and so I’m not getting rid of something to make room for an NC.

If you sell yours and have Cogent suspension components and a Dale’s rack, I’ll buy them from you. These are worth more selling them then leaving them on a bike that’s going to be traded.

Haven't decided yet, at a crossroads and haven't decided how to proceed. Have some health issues limiting how I like to ride. I have the items you mentioned and plan to pull them if I sell, although I might leave the fork valves. not worth the effort.

    We'll see.

The PNW is under weather siege.
I was going to comment on how hot and humid it is here in SW OHIO, but, never mind. If it became that hot here, I think I'd explode into dust.
