Inmate @tileman has some fairing molds for the 640A, I am due to pick them up from him soon-ish. I will let you know what I have when I get them eh.

Cheers, Gods! Now you mention it, I remember reading something about moulds recently.

So has anyone purchased an LC4 service kit lately? You know, the blister pack with both filters, a gasket, and a large array of crush washers.

The last couple I bought were around the $40 mark, just under from memory. Maybe 2017.

Fast forward to today, try somewhere around $65. Each.

The nice man on the telling bone told me that KTM had a price rise late last year and some odd things jumped by stupid amounts. I guess this is one of them. Fcuk.

    Anyone getting theirs cheaper?

Dunno about a ryco or other type.

I ordered the service kits from Boltons, I think they also charged a fair hit more for the 2 sprockets I bought as well. I guess it's a lesson learned for me.

I wonder why 2 businesses that do the same thing can charge around 100% difference for the exact same parts? I'll be using other than boltons from now on.

Could be that North Coast KTM (KTMOnlineParts) havent updated thier online pricing yet.
I haven't found too much difference between the dealers on pricing before.

Might be worth stocking up before everyone updates their pricing.

Advice taken, 3 more service kits (with free postage!) headed my way for storage.

I hope this is allowed here, but I’d suggest you read the reviews online for the KTM shop in Lismore. And I can confirm that the reviews are accurate after recently ordering some parts off them. Parts took 6 weeks to arrive, and that was after 5 phone calls asking where my parts were. In the end, after getting my parts, I was thankful for just not getting ripped off. Never again...

Cheaper maybe, but not locally. And the USD has been strengthening against our currencies lately, hasn't it? That would drive some price 'correction'.

I have noticed the part number is not found when searching several online shops. Seems to be random, those that have it and those that don't.

KTM's pricing strategy is something like this:

    * If there part is readily available on the open market, e.g. wheel bearings, add one zero to the price!
    * If it is a KTM part that fits lots of KTM's, and after-market options are available, add two zeroes to the price!!
    * If it is unique to this bike, e.g. lower shock bearing, add three zeroes to the price!!!

And then there is the 'privilege of riding in Godzone' tax: multiply by 2-3 times vs US prices.

Er, is that the same shop as the ktmpartsonline store? :dunnoUPDATE: I just worked out that it is indeed the same store.

(I used payPal too, so if there's a dispute it should resolve in my favour.....).

There's also a 2005 Adventure for a coupla bucks more too. Murwullimbah.
I got my parts, took 3 phone calls (never got to speak with the parts person either......) and 5 weeks but it came. A $108 order with $24 free express post, quite strange.

Does anyone know of a direct replacement for the 625 SXC headlight insert? Mine has a burn mark on the inside and it wont pass a RWC.
And the original part is NLA.

I was about to say they're the same as the 2000 - 2003 EXCs and early bergs, so NLA as well.

I have a TrailTech X2 on mine which passes NSW Pink Slip:

I have the original SXC headlight which I think is in RW condition if you get stuck and need a lend.

I've got one of those TrailTech units with HID's in it and the lights are just awesome, but I'm stuffed if I know how they could pass ADR.

I'm lucky in that my local rego bloke only cares it does hi/lo, but anyone observant would notice they definitely aren't H4 compliant in any way shape or form. But they do kick arse and weigh sod-all.
