That is beautiful. Exactly where I'm going to be looking when I start to slow down a bit, but want quality and character.

Beautiful bike. Sometimes think I should have waited.
    Then I go for a ride! :-)

Congrats , many happy (s)miles. Truly a great mount, one of the most fun and endearing bikes I've ever ridden.

How's the power feel? Is she a lugger like most Guzzis? Does it feel heavy?

I suspect that it’s a motor that won’t free up for 2000-3000 kms.

I went up a very steep bmx track of a Rd and it didn't hesitate and carries its weight down low,. I thought it would scrape the guard but it didn't. Fuel consumption is 22 kpl atm and getting better

Although it's not on his website, Peter owner of Meerkat Mufflers Gympie developed a delete pipe for the V85TT.

Sounds exactly like I'd expect. Don't know whether to think about getting one or just put longer forks on mine.

That is correct, but, I only put 15.7 lt in not much further down the track, so still 7 lt to go. So the range should be about 500 at the moment.

He also does a mod on the muffler to get a better sound and less kilos.

7,700 klms and it is the best it has run today.
I would say the 850TT may take a fair bit more than 3,000 klms to free up fully.

... if you don’t get up it, yes. Even the Versys only freed up at 2500 km because I got the shits and came home very fast from Grafton through Casino.
    And half your size!!
