That's the plan. After every long ride I clean my chain and sprockets on my other bikes and always think what a PITB that is. So I reckon shaft drive should be great to live with.

Sorry but I don't get the idea. Is the blue one somehow a different model to the crashed red one? What's more desirable about a crashed one?

If you already have a v85 , it's relatively easy to swap parts across to get a written off one back on the road. Then after inspection / rego you can return the shinny bits to the original bike and start building a dirt worthy v85. At half the cost . But twice as capable.

Sorry officer, I have no idea how those ktm forks ended up on the bike...
Oh, all that heavy factory junk myst have fallen off during the ride...

Don't think he would have had time to move gear from one bike to the other and back though. Or maybe he had help.

Stedi spots and a skene controller on my V85tt.
LED, they look yellow in these pics due to me not being head on to the lens, and running them at 30% as DRL's.
I have the spots angled slightly outwards towards the side of the road where the skippies hide.

Hi John, great to meet you Sunday. I can certainly attest to how visible you are with those lights. Even at several hundred metres distance with a couple of cars between us, you were still very visible, more so than the cars in front of you. Awesome.

Thanks for the feedback, If I'm close to the bike, the lights look dull, the further away yo are the better the brightness.
Thanks for the company on Sunday.

New cases arrived today :) took two hours to fit the muffler side frame :( and 15 minutes to fit the other side, all happy in the end.
Used my MT09 Tracer inner bags and they fit well. 20201126_171142.jpg 20201126_172428.jpg 20201126_172449.jpg 20201126_172513.jpg

Happy, I reckon you would enjoy riding again on this bike instead of your behemoth.

In all honesty happy you took that first 20km of dirt very suprisingly, I thought I’d let you go over a couple hills to let the dust settle then up the paced a bit to see how long it took to catch you, I really thought i would have caught you long before you stopped at the left/right where the fark do we go corner
